# Repo Agent Kit metrics and privacy

Repo Agent Kit publishes its progress toward 1,000 daily users on a public dashboard.

## What is counted

- Daily anonymous browser identifiers, regenerated each UTC day
- Aggregate pageviews by pathname
- Aggregate product actions such as copy, download, audit share, and badge copy
- Coarse acquisition categories such as direct, search, GitHub, or a tagged campaign
- Explicitly labelled verification visits and actions, reported separately and excluded from the public success totals
- Known automated crawler and URL Inspection visits, retained as auditable exclusions but removed from users, pageviews, sources, and success totals
- Controlled production pageview checks, retained as aggregate auditable exclusions and removed from pageview and top-page totals

## What is not stored

- IP addresses at the application layer
- Cookies
- Query strings or URL fragments
- Full referrer URLs or external page paths
- Generated project details or audited file contents
- Identifiers that persist across days

Browsers with Do Not Track enabled are excluded. Known crawler user agents and browser automation are rejected before storage. README badge image impressions do not affect user or action totals.
